Findmmm Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026.

A clear promise about how Findmmm protects your memories.

Your Photos are yours. Period.

We built Findmmm to help you rediscover your memories—not to collect them.

Our Privacy Promise

We think privacy should be easy to understand.

So here's the Findmmm promise in plain English:

Findmmm was created to help you find your memories—not to find out more about you.

Does Findmmm upload or look at my photos?

Never. Findmmm does its work directly on your device.

Your memories stay where they belong: with you.

If a photo is stored only in iCloud, Apple Photos may download it to your device when it's needed, just as it does with other photo apps. Findmmm does not upload that photo to our servers.

How Findmmm works with your photos

Findmmm needs access to your photo library so it can help you find and rediscover your photos and videos.

But giving Findmmm access does not mean sending your photos to us.

Findmmm does its work directly on your device—organizing and helping you search your memories by things such as Who, What, When, and Where.

Your photos don't need to leave your device for Findmmm to do its job.

What about faces, keywords and other details?

Findmmm can analyze your photos to help make them easier to find.

For example, it can identify faces, objects and other visual details and create searchable information about your photos.

This processing happens on your device.

Findmmm does not send your photos to our servers for this analysis, and we don't see the results.

What about locations?

Findmmm can use the location information already connected to your photos to help you find memories by place.

Whenever possible, Findmmm identifies places directly on your device.

If a place name is missing, you can add it from your existing list of places, add a new place manually or use Apple's GPS location services. If you choose Apple to help determine the location, only the GPS coordinates of your photo will be sent to Apple. Your location is not sent to Findmmm.

What about iCloud?

Your Apple Photos library may contain photos and videos stored in iCloud rather than physically on your device.

When Findmmm needs one of these items, Apple Photos may download it from your iCloud account to your device.

That's Apple and iCloud doing what they normally do. Findmmm does not receive or store a copy on our servers.

What about an external Cloud Drive?

Findmmm can access photos stored on an external cloud drive only when you choose to give permission.

When you ask Findmmm to include those photos, it makes them searchable within the app using the 4Ws, tags, and keywords. Findmmm does not save a separate copy of them.

If you remove Findmmm’s permission to access the cloud drive, or if the photos are unavailable because you are offline, Findmmm will no longer be able to find or display them.

External cloud-drive providers have their own privacy practices. We recommend reviewing your provider’s privacy policy to understand how it stores, accesses, and protects your photos.

Findmmm does not receive or store a copy of your photos on our servers.

Do I need a Findmmm account?

No. You don't need to create a Findmmm account just to use the app.

We don't maintain an online Findmmm account containing your photo library, and we don't keep a cloud copy of your photos or videos.

What about subscriptions and payments?

If you purchase Findmmm through the App Store, Apple handles your payment.

Findmmm does not receive or store your credit card information.

We may use a subscription-management service such as RevenueCat to confirm that your subscription is active. It receives only the limited information needed to manage your subscription.

It does not receive your photo library.

What happens if I contact Support?

If you contact Findmmm Support, we receive only the information you choose to send us.

That could include your email address, description of the problem, screenshots, problem reports or files you decide to attach.

We use that information to help answer your question or solve the problem.

We don't use a support request as permission to access your photo library.

What information does the Findmmm website collect?

We may collect limited information about how people use the Findmmm website so we can understand what's working and make it better.

This can include things such as pages visited, buttons clicked, general device and browser information, language and country.

We don't sell this information.

Visiting our website does not give us access to the photos on your phone, tablet, or computer.
